I was able to head home last night from the hospital, which is truly a blessing. My white count was 2.6, which is on the move up, and it needs to at least get to 4.4 to be within a normal range. This should occur by Friday. I was able to head home only if I was willing to have a half hour antibiotic IV drip everyday for eight days. By agreeing to this, I was able to come home early by at least 2-3 days. I will relax and recoup for the next couple of weeks, and then gear up for round three of chemotherapy, which should take place around the middle of June. My current goal is to speak at Woodridge's graduation on June 1. Thanks again for all of the cards, thoughts, and prayers. The support from everyone makes this experience not so lonely.
Best wishes,
Mic

Hi Mic,
I'm glad you got to go home! I know how lonely it can be in the hospital. Best of luck to you recuperating, and recieving those wonderful, fantastic antibiotics. I know your body will absorb them well (like you mentioned) along with your blood clot. They were a tremendous help to me when I needed them. I hope you get to enjoy some of this beautiful weather. I got to ride tonite with the Orrville cycle club, guys and gal. (great group). There were 30 of us in the B group rolling and tearing up the back roads of orrville.
talk to you soon,
Mic,
We are really looking forward to seeing you at graduation on the first. Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend with your family and friends. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

So glad to read that you're home again. I hope this last week has allowed you to rest and to feel better!

Mic and Wendy,
I just heard about everything... news takes a little longer to get to SC I guess.
I am sadden by the news and will pray for you to overcome the cancer like the fighter you are.
You both mean so much to me and I'm sorry we're getting back in touch this way. The weird thing is I was in Wadsworth at the end of April for my Grandpa's funeral and drove past your house. I was thinking about stopping, but it looked like no one was home. I wish now I would have taken the chance and knocked.
I miss you guys and the kids (who are probably 5ft. tall by now!) and hope to talk soon.
I love you guys and you are in my families prayers.
Love,
Tricia Milici
