Mic did really well with his second dose of chemotherapy. He was very blessed to not experience any of the possible side effects. However, as to be expected, we discovered on Thursday 5/7 that his blood counts were very low. He suspected they were low since he's been feeling "off" for the past few days. Yesterday and today have been difficult days to keep food in his tummy, and it's not due to vomiting. Tonight his temperature has reached 101.3. When it reaches above 100.5, we are to call the doctor. The doctor on call told us to get him to the ER so he can get registered and on antibiotics. My dad took him to the hospital to be admitted. Seems that the real rough days are ahead.
Please ask God to allow these days to pass quickly. Please pray for comfort so he can endure the pain, and rest so he can have strength to recover.
Much love,
Mic, Wendy and Family
