Treatment

Please understand that your prayers are being answered. Mic's spirits are soaring and he is so grateful to be in such good hands receiving this treatment. His color is back in his face and he doesn't look or sound sick at all.

The first night of chemo was Friday evening. Honestly, you would have thought you were at a party. With some of the Rittman crew, his sister, children and wife (me) at his side, we just sat around in the lobby talking and laughing.

His second round was Saturday night, after he was moved into a larger room that we call, "The Penthouse" or "Suite." So far, no side effects. Besides getting up every hour to relieve his bladder, he feels great.

Thank you for praying, please keep them coming. He is truly touched by your concern and kindness.

We request that between the hours of 1:00 - 4:00 that he has no calls or visitors. This way he can nap, read, or write in his journal.

We love you! Thank you for caring!

Hi Mic and Wendy,
If you have to be in the hospital I guess the Penthouse is the place to be!!! Hope you continue to feel well with no side effect from the chemo. I wrote a prayer request for you in our "Prayer Book" at Sacred Heart so now you have a whole bunch of those Catholics praying for you too. Take care and God bless.
Susan

So if I show up on Thursday at 2pm after traveling nine hours from South Carolina, are ya saying that I have to wait two more hours before I can come see him? :-)
